Today I am 10w5d. Had my second appointment. My doc couldn't hear the hb on the doppler stethescope. He did a transvaginal US and at first he didn't see anything. I asked him what he was seeing as he was probing and he said, "well, what I don't see is a 10w fetus."Defibrillator Battery But, he was having trouble with the machine. He took the probe out and re loaded it so to speak and then we saw the fetus and it measured exactly 10w5d and he said he saw the hb!
I asked what my % of miscarriage rate would be and he said less than 1%. So, in the end he said everything was normal. I guess I'm slightly concerned just because we couldn't hear the HB. But, on the babycenter "week by week" at 10 weeks it says "you may be able to hear HB with a doppler stethescope." Not that you "should" be able to.
