Where Are the Creative People?

It occurs to me you will find there's great divide, an 'us' and 'them' scenario, going on when we discuss 'Connect with Carl Kruse on Linkedin'. By labeling certain people as 'creative' were in fact excluding others. In the forums , that some individuals tend to be more creative than the others, and that we really should be very thankful to have that, but you that creative people, of all and talents, is found everywhere. In fact they're on all levels of your company as well as the sad thing is more often than not that you do not know they're there. And also, since business leaders usually have a narrow check out who the 'creatives' actually are, they aren't in a position to fully access the creative potential and wisdom of the organization. I not really know about yourself, but I've sat in several brainstorming sessions and production meetings and still have forever been pleasantly surprised about how frequently the meek, mild, quiet an affiliate the corner, who's not considered section of the creative team, could be the individual who pops up using the killer idea, or adds an absolutely new twist on the conversation. And so the 'us' and 'them' thing basically relies on our view of who a creative body's. My view is always that an imaginative individual is somebody that thinks differently. Being creative would be to create. It could be a new idea, something new or perhaps a new idea. Show creativity is all about thinking and doing differently. It's really down to being unique, seeing the planet from various perspectives, challenging standard and seeking possibilities. Plus it is valid that by their very nature creative people think and behave differently, that they're motivated by something else entirely, which requires a unique pair of leadership skills to nurture, direct and manage them. However that shouldn't exclude the fact creative people result from all amounts of a company, coming from all walks of life, and all sorts of industry sectors. And we all need to broaden our check out who they are where they are often found and that we need stop thinking about creative people as those individuals from the corner with ponytails. I am just not saying don't respect, exclude or sack your creative team, faraway from it, because you need them. What I am saying is be careful about limiting relative it is of that is and is not creative. And if creativity is all about finding new possibilities, then ironically, by limiting your look at who 'creative people' are, you have fact limiting your possibilities and eventually not very creative.
