SWF is a manufacturer of single and multi-head embroidery machines. The SWF embroidery machine company is based out of Korea. SWF is one of the most well-known brands in embroidery machine manufacturing. Sunstar is the original manufactures of the machines distributed by SWF.
SWF has produced embroidery machines with 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 heads. In The United States most SWF models are 1, 2, 4, 6. SWF has produced machines with 1, 6, 12 and 15 needles.

SWF A/T1201
The SWF A/T1201 was released in 1999 and is a single head full size embroidery machine (not compact) with a 12 needles. The machine was referred to as "the pink panther" because the 1999 models were the only models with pink bases.

The SWF serial number contains the year. The serial number starting in 32 is a 1999 machine. A 33 is a year 2000 model.
